More about our winning technology
XFO SA 9” stretch tap
4.5 honoree status, Broadband Cabling & Accessories category
The XFO’s advanced electro-mechanical design enables the connection of legacy in/out screw contacts. Solving the issues presented by legacy housings, XFO’s 1.8 GHz components and printed circuit board (PCB) creates a good flat in/out response and acceptable return loss levels on official housings.
Offering superior RF performance to 1.8 GHz, the XFO SA 9” stretch tap range has the option to use signal conditioning plug-ins and is compatible with originally manufactured SA 9” housings. Technetix patented XFO technologies address all of the issues associated with stretch-type housings, such as signal reflections and water ingress.
Commenting on the award, Technetix Product Manager Cable Broadband, Khanyile Dube said, “We are truly honored to receive this award for the XFO SA 9” stretch tap. It’s a proud moment for our team, whose dedication and innovation have made this breakthrough possible.” Responding to the company’s efforts to mature their reputation as the leading sustainable vendor, Khanyile went on to add, “This recognition reinforces our commitment to delivering smarter, more efficient solutions that keep networks running at their best.”
