The Debrief: Connected Britain 2026

Connected Britain 2026 exceeded expectations over a busy two days at London’s Excel event space. Packed with valuable conversations, live product demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities, Team Technetix enjoyed connecting with customers and potential partners.

The first day in particular was buzzing from start to finish with a constant flow of visitors to the stand. To help discussions about the future of broadband networks, we created a welcoming stand environment inspired by in-home delivery. Our house-like structure and comfy seats literally helped visitors feel ‘at home’ while discussing next-generation connectivity solutions.

Technetix products in the spotlight

On display this year was our Mira rOLT, a remote-deployable, agnositc fiber access solution. Supporting GPON, XGS-PON and Combo-PON technologies, rOLT enables efficient fiber network extension with third-party ONUs for simplified subscriber expansion programs.

Alongside rOLT, visitors were able to explore our XO Terminals, designed to accelerate fiber deployment through faster, more efficient installations. The demonstrations sparked plenty of interest from operators looking to reduce installation times and streamline network rollouts.

Our Mira ORCA ONU also returned to center stage. Our experts demonstrated how ORCA supports network transition from HFC to XGS-PON services using existing coax cable. Visitors learned how this alternative to traditional FTTH deployment is an approach with less cost, disruption, and complexity. The display area around our practical and customer-friendly ORCA migration solution was consistently busy.

Technetix VP Customer Insight and Product Innovation speaks to stand visitors about our Mira ORCA ONU. An alternative to traditional FTTH deployment methods, ORCA helps transform the viability of modernizations deemed too impractical for investment.

Technetix shortlisted for Connected Britain Access Innovation Award

Away from the product demonstrations, Connected Britain also provided an opportunity to celebrate innovation across the industry. Shortlisted in the Access Innovation category, Technetix was recognized for its commitment to helping operators build smarter, faster, better networks.

To round off a successful event, visitors joined our team on the stand for a few beers. It was a great opportunity to continue conversations in a more informal setting and strengthen existing relationships. Cheers to another great year at Connected Britain!
