Team Technetix returned to Cologne, Germany at the end of May for ANGA COM 2026. As on one of the industry’s most-anticipated events, this year’s show attracted almost 20,000 visitors, keeping our team very busy!
On-stand demonstrations
Our team provided visitors with close up demonstrations of two major Technetix developments: NeuronX and our ORCA ONU.
Part of our emerging software portfolio, onlookers enjoyed learning about our NeuronX platform, which harnesses the power of machine learning. Developed for centralized amplifier setup and ongoing control, NeuronX is a highly efficient system for network installation, maintenance and monitoring. On the neighboring demo area, our interoperable ORCA ONU got shown off for its award-nominated barrier removal for HFC-to-XGS-PON transition.
Demonstration station: Delegates got a walk through our NeuronX platform, which employs machine learning for centralized network management.
Stand redesign for optimized conversations
For 2026’s show season, optimal conversation quality is a key focus for us. Trade events are extremely busy, full of bustle and buzz, schedules, and a generous amount of noise from the hubbub. This can make talking with customers feel rushed and, on occasion, less personal. To enhance talks with visitors, we redesigned our stand with comfortable seating around its perimeter. For more private conversations, we built a central meeting room in the middle of the stand structure.
Healthy competition? The XO Terminal Challenge!
Our exhibition included our fiber portfolios, broadband cable solutions, and powering technology. Yet, it’s never complete without a little healthy competition… The XO Terminal Challenge was a race to connect 8 drop cables to a terminal unit as quickly as possible. Our winner smashed the challenge in a blistering 00:46:45 seconds, proving that our XO Terminal supports ultra-rapid deployment!
ANGA COM 2026 speaker program
Technetix VP Product Management, Mark Basham, took the stage for his talk, Flexible and Futureproof FTTx Strategies for Next-Gen PON. As part of ANGA COM 2026’s programmed expert panel session, Mark examined critical considerations for optimal operator – and network – health. His lecture sparking vital discussions and collective momentum to drive improvements where possible throughout the industry.
To celebrate the success of ANGA COM 2026, we invited events attendees to join us on the stand for drinks. It was a superb few hours where current relationships were nurtured, and new ones were created. Bring on ANGA COM 2027 and doing it all over again!
