September 14, 2026 | Albourne, UK – Technetix welcomes Huw Mills as Senior Vice President, Global Operations, effective September 14, 2026.
Mills brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operations experience, having built his career from the shop floor through to global executive leadership. He joins Technetix from Nidec Drives, where, as Vice President, Global Operations, he led more than 1,000 people across the Americas, Europe, India and Asia, with responsibility spanning manufacturing, supply chain, quality, HSE and operational strategy. Mills will report to Paul Broadhurst, President, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and join the Technetix Executive Team.
Commenting on the appointment, Technetix CEO and Founder Paul Broadhurst said, ‘Huw has demonstrated throughout his career that he understands operations from the ground up and knows how to turn strategy into action. He brings extensive international experience, but also a very practical and people-focused approach to leadership. I’m delighted to welcome him to Technetix.’
During his career with Nidec and Emerson, Mills has led large international operations and major manufacturing transformation programs across Europe, the Americas and Asia. His experience includes outsourced and in-house manufacturing, supply chain, manufacturing partners across Asia, international production transfers and full P&L responsibility. He has also delivered significant improvements in manufacturing capacity, productivity and cost.
Broadhurst added, ‘Agility and responsiveness to our customers have always been important strengths of Technetix. Supply capacity constraints, increasing market competition and customers taking a more demanding approach with their suppliers are putting greater pressure on costs, lead times and service. Huw’s experience will help us build greater resilience and efficiency into our global operations, insulating our customers from these pressures wherever possible while maintaining the responsiveness they expect from Technetix.’
Mills holds an MBA from Wrexham Glyndŵr University in Wales, UK, alongside qualifications in Operations Management and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Commenting on his appointment, Mills said, ‘I’m excited to be joining Technetix at an important stage in its growth. I’m passionate about developing people, simplifying complexity and building operations that are resilient, competitive and ready for the future. Technetix has built a strong reputation for agility, innovation and being close to its customers, and I’m looking forward to working with the team globally to build on those strengths.’
