Celebrating Success: Technetix awarded Silver EcoVadis medal!

Albourne, UK – 18th April, 2023 – Technetix Group Ltd (Albourne, UK), the leading global broadband technology provider of broadband solutions, has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in recognition of its sustainability performance. The silver medal is only awarded to the top 25% of all companies assessed and this year Technetix improved its score so that it is now in the top 5% of companies in its industry and is rated in the top 2% for ethics.

Technetix’ award-winning technologies allow operators to optimise the performance of their broadband networks whilst reducing power consumption, waste and cost of ownership. Recent achievements for Technetix in improving its approach to sustainability includes:

  • A 14% reduction in scope 1 & 2 emissions versus 2021 and 31% versus 2019.
  • Implementing packaging changes that prevent the generation of nearly 10 tons of single-use plastic per annum.
  • Achieving ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system (ISMS).
  • Joining the UN Global Compact, a voluntary platform supporting universal sustainability principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
