Event Review: Network X 2025

What a fantastic week in Paris. Team Technetix were out in full force last week for 2025’s Network X at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, October 14 to 16. In the spotlight on our stand this year, solutions from our fiber and power product portfolios included our Mira rOLT, our ONTs, XO terminals, the ultra-dense splitter system, HDOSS-32, and our portable LFP generator.

Delegates were also treated to a sneak peek demo of our newest development, Mira ORCA solution, engineered to solve the access and disruption conundrums around in-building fiber installation.

Our stand followed our 2025 in-home theme, showing off our Mira range, and our latest development for easier fiber installation, ORCA (white picket
fence just visible). Back again in its tank of water, our submerged rOLT isn’t just a reliable ice breaker at shows: it’s turning into a bit of a mascot!

The Exhibition Stand

The stand was busy from start to finish, with visitors from across Europe, Asia the UK, and even as far as Australia. Our range attracted terrific interest, along with our slot car racing competitions. Up for grabs were two LEGO sets and a useful YETI ® flask, with all three finding happy winners over the three days! Congratulations go to:

Day 1: fastest lap = 5.77 secs
John Blake from VodafoneZiggo 🏎️
Day 2: fastest lap = 5.51 secs
Paul Merrin from Wightfibre 🏁
Day 3: beating EVERYONE 🏆🏆🏆Mercedes Scarpino, Fastweb + Vodafone

The Network X Awards

We were delighted to make the shortlist for two categories in the event’s annual awards. Our Fiber to the Tree House project at Wilderness Resort made the finalist spot in the Outstanding FTTH Service category, with our ultra-low-power GPON rOLT nominated for a win in the Outstanding Green Fibre Use Case category.

While we didn’t come away with any trophies this time, the recognition alone was a fantastic achievement. As finalists alongside global players such as Nokia, Huawei, and ZTE, getting shortlisted for two awards is testament to the innovation behind our products. It also says a lot about our position on the stages we’re competing on.

With the awards ceremony itself hosted aboard a riverboat on the Seine with the Paris skyline as a backdrop, we felt we’d as good as won the day!
The ceremony turned out to be one of the highlights of the week.

Sharing the evening with some of our key customers, it was a chance to strengthen relationships and forge new ones with new teams and departments.

Overall, Network X 2025 was a great success for Technetix. The team effort between our Sales, Marketing, and PLM departments throughout kept everything running smoothly. It was clear our guests felt welcomed, relaxed and open to engage in meaningful discussions.

And in contrast to 2024, the weather stayed dry in Paris this year! This certainly helped make this year’s Network X at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles an excellent event. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year in Vienna.
