25th March, Albourne, United Kingdom – The cost of all care services at Chestnut Tree House on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March 2021 will be paid for by Technetix, in support of their ‘pay for a day’ scheme. Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for Sussex and provides care and support to life-limited children and their families. Technetix has built a strong relationship with Chestnut Tree House over the years and the UK team is very dedicated to raising money for the Arundel based children’s hospice.
Paul Broadhurst, CEO at Technetix said: “By taking part in Chestnut Tree House’s Pay for a Day Scheme, Technetix recognises the amazing work they do and support the difference Chestnut Tree House makes in the local community. The dedicated team provide a caring and supportive environment, so families are able to spend precious quality time together.”
Technetix began supporting Chestnut Tree House in 2010, fundraising activity include everything from volunteering at the hospice, bake sales to taking on challenges. By the end of 2020, Technetix has raised just over £130,000. Technetix has also donated over £112,000 in support of Pay for a Day over 10 years. This has paid a total of 16 days of care. £13,700 has been paid in 2021 to support the charity over the next two days, providing a supportive environment for families to be able to spend precious time together.
