12th Sep, 2018, ZARAGOZA, SPAIN – Technetix, a leading global broadband cable and telecommunications equipment provider, is pleased to have been selected by Euskaltel Group to supply its state of the art technology as a part of its evolution of the broadband access network to DOCSIS 3.1. This technology will bring ultra-fast connection speeds and increased capacity to Euskaltel, R and Telecable large fixed broadband subscriber base, with Euskaltel Group becoming one of Technetix’ largest strategic customers.
The equipment to be supplied to Euskaltel, R and Telecable will be Technetix’ DBx modular and field upgradeable access platform. The solution enables Euskaltel Group to upgrade to the fastest available broadband speeds on its existing broadband cable network at the lowest capital cost, whilst making substantial savings in maintenance and energy costs.
